Quick 15 minute sketch

Just a quick Gallo sketch while watching a show on Netflix. Anyway, sadly I haven't worked on any Gallo material as of late, been busy with another personal project. Hopefully I'll make more time to work on sketches, but  more importantly, more time to finish up the first story...stay tuned.

Concepts for the new year...

Some quick sketches I did last night to get the year rolling. Starting to change Gallo's look again, not entirely a bad thing though. The more I draw him, the more comfortable I get (which is good). Still got a ways to go though, really looking forward to seeing what happens this year. Stay tuned...

Some sketches I've been working on, trying to finalize Gallo's look. The other two are characters from the story, still in the beginning stages. Have a ways to go before I get the look I want for all the characters, a lot of fun exploring though. Stay tuned...

Concepts

Working on designing the antagonist for the Gallo story. Some early concept drawings, can't wait to really get in there and create a look for this character that I'm happy with. Also worked on bits of the story today, looking forward to finishing the outline and having a fleshed out story sooner than later. I'm crossing my fingers and I hope I get a lot of work done this month. Stay tuned!

Two minute...

I'm working really hard on trying to finish the first Gallo short story. The goal is to  finish the writing part by the end of the year, but just like in life there are always a few bumps in the road. Luckily though, when you hit those bumps, there's always drawing. Did this two minute Gallo sketch when I had a case of writer's block....definitely helped out a bit! Stay tuned...

Hello to all the pistoleros out there! So the other day a buddy of mine (Aldo Orozco) gave me a clay model of El Gallo Pistolero! It turned out looking great, the pictures don't do it justice though! It looks a thousand times more cool in person! This model really made my day!

Duel Preview

Just a little preview of something I'm working on. I'm so excited! I just finished the first Gallo story last week!...We'll kinda, I finished the outline, but now I have a road map to work with! Starting the New Year with Gallo! I had some time today to work on the story, slowly making some progress...so to get me pumped up I decided to do some Gallo art! I really hope to finish the first story in the next couple of months because I have so many other stories planed for this big chicken! Stay tuned!

It's been some time since I posted anything here, to be honest I've been working on and off on the story. It's taking longer than I thought to write, but hopefully by the end of the year I'll have the first draft done...that's my goal anyway. I decided to work on some costumes for the big guy, had a lot of fun doing these. Plan to do some more in the future so stay tuned!!!
